Strike-Split-Spare - Production History

Production History

Theatre Unbound: February 2007
Intermedia Arts
Production
Minneapolis, MN
"Strike-Split-Spare" was originally created and produced as part of Theatre Unbound's 24 Hour Play Project.

The writing teams were set loose overnight, from 9pm to 5am, Friday, February 9th into Saturday, February 10th, to create a play using the following four ingredients -

an object (bowling trophy), an emotion (paranoid rapture), a line of dialogue ("I'll need a deluxe umbrella, not the traditional kind; I thought that was understood."), and something random (the song "Fly Me To The Moon").

The team of Holly Davis and Matthew Everett also choose the additional ingredient - a banana.

The script was rehearsed the day of February 20th and performed along with the others at Intermedia Arts so that all plays were staged by 9pm - a full 24 hours in the making.

The production was directed by Laura Wilhelm, and the cast was as follows...

FRONT PIN: Tina Fredrickson
SIDE PIN: Angela Skinner
MIDDLE PIN (Sparky): Kari Kelly
