There’s a Moment Like That (Heaven & Home)

THE SETUP

Gabby, in trying to boost Andrew’s spirits, telling him not to give up yet on his pursuit of Cian, mentions that Andrew is exactly the type of guy Cian is attracted to.  “I know he wants you.”

“I’ve had sex.  Plenty of times.  I want to make love, just once.”

ANDREW

That’s not what this is about for me.  I’ve had sex.  Plenty of times.  I want to make love, just once.  To really want to be completely there.  Not thinking of something, anything else to take you out of that moment.  The endless ones you regret.  I want to know what it feels like to be in the middle of a moment that makes the rest of my life fit.  I want to look at the person in my arms, the person whose arms I’m in, and not see any good reason to ever let go.

There’s a moment like that.

I know it exists.  And I want it.
